100-Year-Old Wedding Dress preserved for Fresno's Meux Home Celebration

Fresno's Meux Home will be honoring the 100th wedding Anniversary orf Mary Meux and Henry Barbour, who were married in the parlor of the historic Meux Home in downtown Fresno in October of 1907. In honor of the celebration, the stunning ivory and lace wedding dress worn by Miss Meux has been restored and will be on display for the Meux Museum's celebration in October.

The Meux home is a charming historical landmark in downtown Fresno. Johnny's Mom, a retired educator, is a docent there and spends many weekends hosting tour groups and Victorian tea parties for the public. The Meux home is also an incredible location for small weddings, and perfect for couples seeking an intimate and historical venue. In fact, Johnny's parents will be renewing vows there for their 50th wedding anniversary next summer.
